Wow, I can't believe it's already December. Where did the time go? I have been so busy these last months I think I just kind of "forgot" Christmas was coming..... Of course we have decorated the shop, it is full of beautiful Angels and other decorations. The Christmas fabrics are out and we've sold lots of blue yarn for the "Blaanisse" hats, sweaters and mittens. Every day from today until Christmas eve there is a really cute childrens program on tv about the "blue santas" who live in "the Blue Mountain". They have the cutest outfits, and in Norway all the young kids want to have a hat or sweater like them.
This is Kini's doll with her little outfit I knit when Kini was a little girl who still played with dolls.... (It seems like just yesterday). Now the doll lives at the shop, showing off her Blaanisse clothes.
Some of the angels we have
I just love these canisters for Christmas coffee and Christmas Tea
Here's the girl herself, showing off her new hat I knit for her. Nice and warm, which is good- we're having a cold spell at the moment- and LOTS of wonderful white snow!
Take care, and have fun playing in the snow (or on the beach)!
I love to see the Norway traditions and your "snow"!!!!!. Hope the Xmas season is special for you and your family!!!

ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas tea and coffee cannisters. Your store looks so lovely decorated for the Christmas season. The blue santa outfit looks so sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe that another year is almost gone!! I love the beautiful little glass angels. How is it going with your new shop? You must be very, very busy these days!
ReplyDeleteOh your girl looks gorgeous! I love all your Christmas things. I used to love seeing all the photos of my Aunts decorations and she always sent us some each year. I still have clear memories of the Christmas we spent in Norway when I was only 7, it was just magical, especially the visit from Yulenissen.
ReplyDeleteOh what pretty canisters you have and I love the knitted hat too.
ReplyDeleteI really like your daughters pretty pink hat. Where did you get the pattern for it? I would like to make one for myself. I really like all the things in your shop and the pictures of the beautiful snow and scenery.
