Quilt meet

Wow wow wow, did we have some FUN at the quilt meet!!!! My mom, a friend and I headed down with a van full of merchandise and samples on Friday morning, and started setting up our shop booth as soon as we got there. This was my first time taking the shop "on the road" so I was both excited and terrified at the same time. The whole weekend was so much fun, I didn't get to see any of the exhibitions or take any classes, but I got to meet so many wonderful quilters at the shop, and now I can't wait until next year. By the way, can you see "Truly Scrumptious hanging on the back wall? I finished it the day before we left, and I just love how this quilt turned out! This is offered as a BOM at my shop, and a lot of ladies are already on their second block now.
When I came back it was time to rearrange my shop a bit, and do a spring cleaning (although spring seems to be far far away at the moment)
I managed to get a bit of shopping in as well- loved this fabric and ribbons! In the back you see a kit for a bag to hold a new coffee mug that the Quilt association gave all of us, and I also got three new patterns.
I just couldn't resist these shirtings, aren't they pretty? There were so many sweet bloggers who also came by to say hello, and I wish I had pictures to share with you all, but I was just really busy, so there wasn't much time for pictures. Of course I wish I had taken the time for a picture with Kaffe Fasett one of the times he came into the shop, but oh well- Next time! This week I am working on a few WIP's before I let myself start any of those new patterns I got.... Pictures will come!
Have a great day!
