A fun night!

Last night was our first "official" quilt meet. Some of us have wanted to start a local quilting group, and we've been talking about it for YEARS (no kidding). Finally we actually got dates for our meetings set, and one of the quilters made arrangements for us to use a nice room at the bank. This is actually their lunch room, and it was great for us to be able to use it for sewing. We were 15 ladies, some brought sewing machines and some brought stitcheries. We had lots of fun, and got tons of inspiration from each other. Now we just need to find a name for our group- that's the hard part....
I brought along this stitchery, I am so anxious to get it finished, because yesterday "Truly Scrumptious" arrived at the shop from Natalie at Cinderberry Stitches, and I just want to dive right in and get started. I will be offering truly scrumptious as a BOM at the shop, and I am so excited about it, I really hope she will be a hit!
Have a wonderful day, and thank you for reading!

  2. A name for the group, hmm, how about JIS, Joined Together in Stitches, probably not very original, but it’s hard to find a real good name...
    Love your stitchery!
