Busy week end
We've had a busy week end. Sigve turns 10 yrs old tomorrow, and he had his birthday party on Saturday. Needless to say, I was busy baking and getting the house ready on Friday. I also managed to get down to my shop and assemble a few more shelves. And then yesterday DH helped me get a desk and a large table in there, and he helped with a couple of tricky parts on the last shelf, so now I'm ready to get the merchandice in. Last week the first patterns arrived from Northern Quilts and AnnAKa. Wonderful patterns all of them! I've started on a stitchery from Northern Quilts,(the one in the photo) there is a saying on it: Not a day without coffee, which will be on the left side of the cups. I just think this is so cute.
I will also be carrying "Fons and Porters love of quilting" magazine, and they will make the first shipment this week. Other Magazines I will be carrying is Quilts and more, American Patchwork and quilting, and Quilt Sampler. I'm still working out the shipping details on these, but hope to get it in order this week.
Thank you all for your supportive comments along the way! I try to reply to all of you, but sometimes my days aren't long enough... ( I know that happens to a lot of us!) We should all just meet up at a cracker Barrel one of these days, I understand I'm not the only one who loves their cooking (and especially their chicken and dumplings).
Have a wonderful day everyone!

WOW! To be allowed to buy fabric and magazines as much as you want. That´s my dream! To make such a big step is very courageous of you and I bet a LOT of work. I am curious to learn more about your shop. I see as well that you still have time to sew, amazing! I keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well. Take care.
