Christmas skiing

Yesterday I went skiing with DH and the boys.  The boys have two skiraces this Christmas, so they practice quite a bit.  We don't have a lot of snow yet- but just enough to ski a little higher up than where we live.  It's only a 10 minute drive so it's not bad at all- but with more snow we could put our skis on at home and go right out from here.....

Ola, the youngest one was sweet and waited for me at the spot they knew I would turn around and go back to the car.  It's about 5 km from where we parked the car- and that was enough for me.... He headed back with me while Sigve and Svein went a bit further.

Kristine made our wreath this year- she made it from scratch with branches she cut in the woods, and added a cute little stocking she got in a Christmas card or something like that a few years ago.  The bow is made with Christmas fabric from my stash.  I love the way it turned out!
Hope your Christmas is great!

  3. The snowy weather looks amazing, such an incredible contrast to our hot and dry summer at the moment. It's sweet when they still wait for Mum.
