Top finished

Yeeey- My Madeline quilt top is finished- although it turned out bigger that it was supposed to in the pattern.... I need to go back and read the instructions and see if I can find my "mistake".  Right now it's hanging on my banister waiting to get basted and quilted. (It might be there for a little while...)  I have so many new projects I want to start, and today I've been sewing some 9 patch blocks which I have trimmed using my X-blocks ruler:
I still have lots of blocks to make, and I am using fabrics from my stash of reds and cream prints, so bigger quilt means smaller stash at the end of the project.... I really think I am onto something here.... I might just have to make x-block quilts in every color in the rainbow to reduce my stash LOL
Hope you have a great weekend, and thank you for stopping by!

  1. I like your Madelline better than mine. I used French General fabrics also but a different line than yours.

  2. Madeline looks fabulous ... Rouenneries is still a favourite range of mine.

  3. Lekker! Har også erfart at det kan være lurt å titte gjennom mønster en gang i blant før syingen starter;))
