Saturday I started playing with my 60 degree ruler and 2 1/2" strips of fabric... Lots of fun, and I have made a different set of strips as well, it will be fun to see what it will look like in the end :-)
Christmas will be here in a few months, this kitchen set by AnnAKa was in the last issue of Quiltemagasinet, I love the red and white, so I had to make it... There are squares with Christmas themed fabric in between the 4 patches, I'm not sure if your'e able to see it?
There are still some applique left to do in the borders, I'll show more pictures when I am all done. As I have the day off I have been enjoying myself sewing, and I downloaded May Britt's Stitchers Angel project, found fabrics and floss, and traced the stitchery. The boys are getting their hair cut this afternoon, so I figured I'd bring the stitchery along while I wait, and go to the bookstore and find a journal for it. Thank you for a great project May Britt!
Off to the sewingroom again- Thank you for stopping by!
Looks like you have been having heaps of fun :o) Looking forward to seeing some finishes soon...
