I have the day off from work today- and the sun is shining, just a perfect day :-) Now I SHOULD be outside enjoying the sunshine, and I will a little later today- first there is some sewing and painting that needs to be done.
Kristine decided that her hallway needed to get painted, so we got some paint for her the other day, she decided on a very dark purpelish gray named "cave" I guess she'll be turning into a cave woman now... lol. I painted the first coat this morning, and I think it is almost ready for the second coat. Painting is fun when the room is as small as this one lol.
In between painting I have been sewing all the "Be attitudes" blocks together, and I decided to use the rest of the strips from the jelly roll for the inner bordes. It looks a little different than in the book, but I think it will look ok when I get the outer border on. I need to find a fabric to use...
I hope your Friday is filled with fun, thank you for stopping by, I appreciate all your comments!
