It was a good day.

After a couple of weeks with really cold temperatures it was finally warm enough to ski today (it was -15C). After watching the Biathlon world championship we got dressed and headed out. Oh it felt sooo good. I hope the weather will stay nice this coming week, the kids have winterbreak, and if the three of them have to stay inside all week I am sure they will drive each other nuts!

I also managed to start two new projects from Rosalie Quinlan's book "Gift" this weekend. A really cute stitchery and a tablerunner. I just need something other than that shirt to work on.... I love this book, it is full of supercute projects, and I think I will have to make at least one more from it... An angel perhaps..??

Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to the sewing machine again!

  1. Thank you for the kind comments about my book and also my sheep on my blog. A pattern will be coming very soon. Your cold weather seems so beautiful after all the heat we have here. Another bushfire started last night very close to Leanne and me but it was put out quickly and no one was hurt.

  3. The skiing looks great, just got back from a ski trip myself and you're right-- it does feel so good! We flew out to Colorado for some great snow and wonderful ski conditions. Your stitchery is just precious.
