Last night was our monthly "Fjellquilten" guild meeting. We sewed, chatted, had coffee, cakes and chocolate. In other words- a PERFECT evening. Mrs.L brought these two lovely quilts and finished the bindings on both of them. You go girl!! The Halloween quilt is so cool, she collected Halloween prints for a few years I believe, and made this for her daughter. The other quilt is a jelly roll quilt- I just loved the colors in it!
Now I didn't know what to work on- so I started on one of the pincushions from the pincushion club (see the badge in my side bar). It was fun to work with felt, I have to admit I haven't done that since I was a kid... This felt is so lovely to work with, I will definately be making another one! ( I actually finished this one today- pictures tomorrow, I promise!)
And I finished another project today as well. This is "Brunhilda's midnight ride" from CrabApple hill- did I mention I like Halloween...??? Ola came to the shop after school to do his homework, and he helped me stuff the pillow, seemed to be more fun than writing poems about fall...
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
