Swapping fun

I LOVE swaps, don't you? I just participated in the "Cupcake swap" over on Red Geranium Cottage and I just received this wonderful fun cupcake recipe book and some lovely cupcake fabric from my swap partner Angela- thank you Angela, i LOVE it! I'm thinking there need to be some baking going on this weekend... Now that the cupcake swap is over I signed up for two more swaps- of course! I am so happy I was able to join in the Secret Santa Christmas swap over at Chookyblue again this year. Last year was so much fun, and I met new friends in the blogging world- I sent a gift to Sheryll- she has such a great blog, and you just HAVE to see her new grand baby- he's adorable! And I was the very lucky recipient of a wonderful gift made by Sarah, who has an amazing web shop- I've signed up for her pincushion of the month club, and I can't wait for the first package to arrive in September. This year I might meet new friends again- who knows... my Secret Santa has left me a message... who could it be, is it someone I know, or is it someone who is new to me? Is it you??? And who am I sending a gift to you ask? Well, it might just be YOU! I'm not telling.. The other swap I'm in is the Stitchers Angel swap, which is also a secret swap. Wonder who my angel is? I know who I am sending to in this swap as well, and I've started planning what to make for her... I might show a few snippets when I get started, just to tease...

Now Donna wanted to see some pictures of the shop- I've been switching some things around in the last few days, and my sweet man helped me build a new fabric shelf, so I am still working on getting everything to the "right" place. Anyhow it gives you an idea of what it looks like now.
Just to show you I've been stitching a little... Still working on two brown chickens- it came all the way to Cape Canaveral with me, but somehow a glass of wine or a Bud Light on the balcony at night was more tempting than sitting inside stitcing...
Thank you for stopping by!
