Weekend fun

Well I just finished the cow runner. We're having a wonderful sunny day, and I finished the binding sitting in the sun behind the shop. The machine I used to quilt it with was not happy today, and it skipped a few stitches here and there- very frustrating! I just couldn't wait and take it home to quilt in on my super duper Mega quilter- I love that machine!!!! Of course I should have waited, but now it is finished with a couple of little "flaws" which makes it unique :)
Last weekend I finally broke down and tried my embroidery unit for my Husqvarna Quilt Designer II machine. I've had it for a year, but I was just not very interrested in doing embroidery on the machine. Well, now I figured it was about time (the unit wasn't exactly free..) Ola thought it was pretty cool, so he did an embroidery as well. It's at home so I don't have a picture of it (I'm at the shop). It was kind of fun, I'll probably do some more, and I have ordered the software to play with and make my own designs from pictures and drawings. But now I am trying to figue out how I want to use these flowers, I think I see a small wall quilt here....
