Weekend fun

First of all I would like to thank all of you for the wonderful comments on my last post, I am working on filling my sewing chest with treasures every day now. My Mom told me they loved to get into it when they were kids as well :) We had a wonderful time at the cabin this past weekend. as you can see I got some rest... DD read the whole weekend, she started an 800 page book on Friday, and finished it Monday night. We didn't get much in contact with her LOL.

My mom and I started new stitceries Friday night, and the boys wanted to try, so I brought some patterns and fabric up on Saturday (Yes, I had to go down to work...) Ola drew a car and I transferred it to his choice of fabric, and he was on a roll. Sigve started on a secret project for someone... (shh) They really got into it and DH was telling Kini that they should go out and start up the chainsaw. LOL. Both the boys were getting down with the stitching...

This last picture shows Ola on his way to school yesterday. We have enough snow to ski here now, and he skied to school on Friday, but now he uses the "spark" or kick sleigh. It's a lot quicker than walking, and the kids can put their backpacks on the seat. Most people use them here where we live, since we have lots of snow in the winter. (he beat me yesterday, and was way ahead of me...)
Have a wonderful day, if it's winter, fall or spring in your part of the world.

  7. That looks very fun and relaxing - I wish it would snow here instead of just raining, but even if it did, it wouldn't be snow like that... Wonder what 800 page book your DD was reading that was so hard to put down- Harry Potter?
