Another week of sewing...
Another week has passed at high speed, it seems time just flies these days. I've done some sewing since my last post. Last Sunday I pretty much locked myself in my sewing room and had FUN! I made the wall hanging from a pattern in "Love of Quilting" (Sept/Oct 2007 issue) and I am happy with how it turned out. The fabrics are from the Paris Cats line, and it is just gorgeous- I love it so much I made a new big makeup purse with it. Sorry no pictures of it yet, at the moment it is packed down for a "girls only" night at a friends cabin. We're heading up in a couple of hours, and are going right to the Spa for some much needed relaxation in the pool and sauna, and then I am sure there will be some great food and wine later in the evening. There are ten of us, all friends since we were in school together (read Grade school!!) and we meet once a month to eat, talk and have fun together. When I got to the shop this morning I made a pair of slippers to bring, since I had forgotten to bring mine from home. The pattern is in a "Tilda" book, and they were quick to make.
Next picture... Sigve has started to play the C-flute, and wanted a small bag to bring his flute and his music book to class. The fabric with the instruments seemed perfect for it, and Sigve is happy.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
