Potholders

I am still in the Christmas mode, so I started a couple of sweet angel potholders. Again, I am using an AnnAKa pattern called "little winterjoys". I cut and fused the pair yesterday, and I was planning on doing the stitching this morning, but then two BIG boxes of new fabrics arrived, and I had to switch my priorities... I'm cutting 30cm pieces at the moment, scanning them and getting them on my webshop right away. I also received new stitchery patterns from Northern Quilts today, and I need to scan those as well, they are just adorable. Oh, I'm sorry, back to my projects... As you can see there is a wallet in the picture with the potholders, this was so quick and fun to make, I used the "Wonder Wallet" pattern from Lazy Girl Designs. It is just perfect for those times when you don't want to bring all your cards or your regular wallet, since it holds two cards (drivers licence and one credit card), change and bills. I think this would be a great project for DD to make.
Oh well, off to the cutting table, those bots are calling my name...
Have a great day, and thank you for stopping by.

  1. Wow, how nice that you get to fondle fabric all day! Nice projects you have going. Would the wallet make a good class for the summer sort of like a sewing camp etc...? Keep well and happy quilting!

  2. Some wonderful projects! Fabric-scanning, I’m off to see what news there is to find in your shop. I have a deal with another blogfriend, not to buy fabric anymore in October... I hope she breaks the promise first!

  3. I have 2 Wonder Wallets and I love them. They hold a lot more than 2 credit cards. LOL!

  4. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the WW... they're also great for gift giving with a gift card enclosed! The potholders are too pretty to actually use!
