Finished UFO
Last night i pulled these placemats out from my UFO box. I started them last October, but didn't finish in time for Halloween, so they've just been waiting to get done. All I had left was the binding, so it was pretty silly of me to let them sit for a year. The fabric is even older, but I really didn't like it and put it in the back of my shelf where my "ugly" fabrics tend to go LOL. It's not so much the bright colors or pattern, it was just not great quality. Now the placemats are finally done, along with two small toppers for the counter, and I am thrilled I used ALL the fabrics, nothing left!
I also finished the potholders (they are more like small pictures actually). They were so much fun to make,a nd would make great gifts. Speaking of gifts, I'm trying to find out what to make for my Secret Santa Swap "partner". I've been stalking someones blog to find out what she likes LOL.
Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteOh, your projects turned out so cute. Don't you just love it when you can get something finished, then move onto something else!! :) I might steal your potholder idea for a church girlfriend project. I have to teach the chicks to do some sort of project, and those are totally cute! ;)
