WIP's and one finished!

I've been working on quile a few projects lately, and here are a couple of them- The table toppers need quilting, and I really should get going on them. I love this line -Peas and Carrots. I've had the charm pack sitting next to my sewing machine for a long time before deciding what to do with it...
The blocks laying on the floor is made from a Shangri-la jelly roll, I'm having fun with this one, and I still have a few more rolls to play with...
On to the finished project- another bag. I love making bags, they are quick and fun. The lining in this one is red, and it has several pockets inside. This is
the fist bag I've made using finished handles, and it will not be the last :)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone :)

  1. I think Jelly Rolls are one of the best inventions. The quilt you have laid out on the floor (w/ the Strip Happy book) is fantastic, especially the 'zip' offered by those bias stripes! Cute, cute bag too!

  2. I’ve never bought Jelly Rolls, but you’ve inspired me to do so! You made a bag because it‘s easy and quick??? I never made one, so you inspired me again. And I have the peas and carrots swatches on top of my fabric stash, still not figured out what to make!

  5. I like the project you are doing with the Jelly roll. I have a Jelly roll that I am looking to do something with. I see you have a book there for Jelly rolls. They sure are becoming popular.

I really like the Kristin Pollen star quilt I would love the pattern - so I googled her - it looks like she has lots of great patterns and I can't read a work of it -- LOL

I sure wish I had at least one other language :))

  14. Anne Heidi,

I love the bag, the quilt, the store. How fun. I got to visit Norway for the first time last summer. My friend lives in Larvik, Norway. It was a glorious two days with her. Not nearly long enough.
