New project

OK so now I'm ready for a new project. I am going to use these fabrics (plus a few more I still have to buy) to sew a "rainbow strip set". I will then cut my set into 5 equal pieces, and send 4 of them away to my rainbow swap partners, and since I am in two different rainbow swaps, I'll have to do it twice, and I will have double the fun :). I haven't decided what to make of the rainbow pieces I will receive yet, but I do love the place mats, and the colorful quilt.



I have also been a good girl and used A LOT of my stash over the past few months. The 1 hr. a day quilt was also a great stash buster, and after cleaning up my fabric shelves (thank you Monica for showing us how to fold fabric so neatly) Now I realize I need to rebuild my stash again. So if any of you know where to find a "stash builder" button, please let me know! Oh I will have so much fun, I've already ordered some great fabric from the fat quarter shop and hopefully it will arrive sometime next week.



Now back to last weekend and my hubby's great Vasalopp adventure. He did good on his 90 km. ski "race" and I think he's even ready to do it again next year. I had a lot of fun driving from the start in Sälen to the finish line in Mora, stopping at a few places to stand by the tracks and cheer the skiers on their way.
