What to work on...

These past days I've been working on a few different projects. Our 9 year old got the flu over the weekend, and the time I can spend in front of the sewing machine is limited... Now my DH got it as well, so he gets to stay home in bed while I'm at work. It's nice to get back out, although I feel a little contagious at the moment... Oh well. I've joined in a potholder swap, and yesterday I started making potholders. I only have to mail out one, and my potholder swap partner lives in Alaska, so I get to send it there, how exciting! I figured I might as well make a few while I'm at it. I'm using a pattern from the Norwegian designer AnnAKa.
I'm also doing the "quilt an hour a day" on Judy's blog (sunshine quilts), and I'm already running a little behind there, so hopefully I'll make up the last half an hour from yesterday tonight. My daughter will be the owner of that quilt when it's finished.
I have also started to sign my siggy blocks, I had to run out yesterday and get a couple of more marking pens since I wasn't happy with the one I started out with. Hopefully they will be ready to mail out on Friday.
