Sew together week end

This weekend we had a "sew together" on the yahoo Norwegian quilt list. On Friday we posted pictures of what we would be working on, and now we can post pictures of how far we got on our projects during the weekend.
I did two projects (well the star quilt I only added the borders to.)
The "wooly friends" pattern was bought at Queen Anne's Lace, in Kissimmee last summer (I LOVED that quilt shop!). I thought it would take forever to make, but it was really fun and quick, so now it hangs above our aquarium. (gives the fish something to look at I guess)

The 1 hr. a day quilt top from Judy's blog is now finished, and I am contemplating whether to send it off to a long arm machine quilter, or try to quilt it myself on my domestic machine... hmmm, I think the "send it away" will be the best choice.
And a big THANK YOU to Ruth, who told me how to get these links put into my post. You are a sweetheart!

  1. Both of your quilts are terrific! I really like the colors you used in Judy L's quilt. I also like the Elvis bag - I bought some Elvis FQs last summer thinking maybe they would go into a bag - yours is a good inspiration. Keep on quilting!!!
