Judy's 1 hr a day quilt

I've been following the "1 hr. a day" quilt on Sunshine quilts (still haven't figured out how to get links in my posts, sorry!) This will be Kristine's quilt, and I'm doing it in her favorite colors, orange, lime green and turquoise. I've been running behind on it, but this week is winter break, and the kids are out of school, so I get to stay home as well :) I'll have to say though, today I was supposed to sew for about 2 1/2 hrs to catch up, but ended up sewing for about 4 hrs. I guess I'm just too slow... It feels good to have caught up though, now I just need to get into that laundry room and do all the laundry I was SUPPOSED to do today, oh well.. it's not like it's going anywhere, and now Kristine brought the mail in, an I received not only one, but THREE new quilt books from my book clubs. I must be in Heaven :)

  2. The quilt looks lovely, and I love the orange sashing. You can link by copying the URL that you want to link to, then highlight your word that you want to link and then click on the icon that looks like a chain, then right click and paste the URL into the box which has popped up. Does that make sense?

  7. Your quilt just sparkles. Wonderful color combination.

Reading through your earlier postings, I see that you too have been playing with curves in a workshop. Check back with my blog to see how that curved piece ended up.
