Well, I have been sewing even if I haven't been blogging.... This is a 6 month BOM we've been running at the shop, from Norwegian designer AnnAKa. It is an advent calendar, so after I eventually get around to quilting it, I will add a few more details like buttons and loops to hang all 24 adventpacages from :-) I have until the end of November to finish it, so I thinl\k I'll make it in time!
I was working on these hexagon flowes a while back, but managed to sew them together wrong, so I just tossed them aside and didn't want to look at them again for a while.... I really hate it when I make mistakes like that, and they are almost impossible to rip apart again. I did get the wrong ones off, but today when I picked them up again I found another mistake.... Maybe this project wasn't made to be for me?? I did get the mistake corrected though and I am determined it will be finished (one day...)
To pick my spirits back up I decided to audition fabrics for a new summer purse. You know I desperately need one, right?? I feel so much better now- I better get started on the purse before I decide to keep working on those hexagon flowers LOL.
