Sewing day

I have the day off, and decided to get some of my quilting projects a little bit closer to be finished ( notice I didn't say I was going to get them FINISHED.... ) I thought I'd posted pictures of a flannell quilt I have been working on earlier- but that was just in my imagination it seems- because I can't find the post.....
Anyhow- the quilt started out as just a lapquilt- but I had cut so many pieces it is ending up a bedquilt.... But it is a bit too short, so I am adding some blocks at the top....

I'll have to see if I can find the picture I THOUGHT i had posted a few weeks ago..... hmmm...

Every now and then I've been showing you the view from my sewingroom.  As you can se the colors are changing into wonderful shades of yellow, orange and red.  The land below us have been sold, and there are two houses going up there- I hope they won't spoil my view too much.... It really looks different with all the trees gone!  It will be fun to watch the houses going up :-)

Finally I have been bitten by the Great Granny bug- These blocks are so much fun to sew- I am planning a small lap quilt ( instead of the flannell one that kind of go too big for the couch...)
That's all folks- thanks for stopping by!

  1. That Granny bug bit me too. Love your scenic view, the trees are showing signs that they might begin changing colors here as well, I am ready for fall!

  2. Eg har lenge hatt lyst å sy desse søte blokkene, men livvet har gått i djupe dalar, så her er stillstand. Håpar på betre tider snart.
