We're back home after a great weekend in Trondheim. We were all excited when we were on our way Friday afternoon.
Traffic was a bit backed up at Berkåk, where this Danish trailer had slid off the road....
But we made it to Heimdal without any problems, and were so excited to get the weekend with Gail and Helen started. Friday night was show and tell, and they showed us lots of wonderful quilts and fun projects :-) The weekend was off to a great start!
Saturday morning when we came for our first day of class this was waiting for us- lovely Eater eggs filled with fabrics, embroidery floss and chocolate (along with the two patterns we could work on that day).... Thank you Siw and Sølvi!!
May W. got started right away-we both worked on Gail's applique project first, and we were determined to give needleturn a fair chance. Now we both have a new favorite way to do our hand applique. Thank you Gail!!!!!
Everybody stayed busy the whole day working on their projects.
Here is Bjorg M. and Gail
Gail and me
And here I am with Helen.
Here are some of the results from Helen's pattern for Saturday. Lots of lovely "must have's"
And here are the results from Gail's pattern for Saturday- lots of lovely baskets were started- one almost finished too! (not mine....)
I was very good at starting new projects over the weekend. I actually started all four..... Now I need to pick out which one to bring to the cabin for Easter. I am heading up after work today with Kristine. The boys are already there having a great time with Grandma. Now I am really looking forward to a lovely week up there, and I hope we will be able to get some skiing in as well, before all the snow melts away....
Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!
Thanks for stopping by :-)
