Spring is here!

After what seems like a very long and cold winter Spring has arrived.  The temperature has reached an overwhelming 12.1C in the shade.... and about 20C in the sun. Ola decided it would be perfect to bring his snack and homework outside on the deck. We haven't gotten the furniture out from winter storage yet, but he didn't mind at all.

I have the day off, and decided it was time to take down the winter curtains and clean the windows.  I kind of like it with all the light coming in (without curtains) but I better find the summer curtains and give them a nice wash before hanging them up.

In between the cleaning and doing laundry I've managed to do a bit of quilting on this tablerunner, now I just need to get the binding on.

And a new project was cut last night from leftover fabrics from my Le Jardin quilt ( the one behind the tv)
I better get done with the cleaning so I can sew some more....
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I couldn't call it spring if there was still snow on the ground! HA!! You have a lovely home, all that gorgeous wood. Do you switch out your quilts with the seasons, too, like your curtains? Have a great week!

  2. Herlige solbilder! Det er så godt når sol og varme tar skikkelig tak som nå.
Løperen blir flott, og resteprosjektet ser veldig lovende ut - fine stoffer... Fortsatt god sy-fridag!

  3. Don't melt in that heatwave! Great pics...glad it is warming up for you.

  4. I think we are all ready for Spring!!! Love your runner..and a new projects in the works..how fun!

  5. You have been busy welcoming the warm weather! We are having a lovely few days of Autumn weather but think it will soon be Winter. Have a lovely Easter, klem xxx
