Hand applique

One more finish to share with you... although this one is not quilted.... I started knitting this sweater for Ola in March or April I think, and when the warmer weather came I didn't feel like knitting this during the summer, but since only the hood was left, I decided to finish it now.
And here is block four of my Le Jardin BOM.  This summer has been great for outdoor sewing, so this project has been perfect!  Block five is almost done, and I have started to prepare the appliquè pieces for block six.

I am so happy about all my finished projects, so now I started a new one!!!! FUN!!!!
I'm not telling you what it is yet, I'll just give you a few peeks of what I have done so far...
I am using my "square in a square" ruler for the first time on this one.  So far I am liking it a lot!  We met Jodi Barrows in Houston last year, and I have two fabricbundles designated for two of her quilts....  Just practicing with this one.  I have been watching her dvd, so I hope I get it right....
ta daah- flying geese..... now they are ready for a block.  Can you guess which block??

  1. Gorgeous sweater, although too hot here, still, to think about wearing one just yet. I haven't succumbed to the "Square in a Square" ruler yet... I don't know why, I have a drawer full of rulers!! Whatever you're all set up to piece will be beautiful, the colors/fabrics are just great.
