More weekend fun

I promised to share more pictures from the weekend. There were so many samples to be inspired by- Leanne and Gail brought so many lovely samples to show us, and I want to make them all!!! I bought the pattern for this lovely pincushion, and the pattern includes a bag, a pouch and a needle case as well, all sooo cute! ( the pattern is called "bluebirds in spring" by Gail Pan)

This was my project on Saturday- Roly Poly santas by Gail Pan- I used some Christmas fabrics that I bought a couple of years ago... A fun little wallhanging- only three more santas to stitch....

On Sunday I ventured into hand applique- A big step for me since I LOVE my sewing machines.... But I discovered I LOVE hand applique as well, what a surprise.... Only 11 more flowers to go.... I am using a layercake of Mary Engelbreight fabric for the flowers- I love her bright and cheery fabrics!

And here's Leanne working on her fabulous new BOM- It will be stunning, I can't wait to see it all finished :-)
That's it for now, I need to continue cleaning up my messy sewingroom so I can get some sewing done.  Today it is only a week until we leave for Houston, so I need to plan projects to bring along...
Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you are able to see the pictures now? I posted using Picasa last night, and the pictures wouldn't show, so now I added them again from blogger :-)
