Busy days...

First of all I am happy to say I am finally able to view all the Typepad blogs again! When nothing else worked I cut the power to the router, and then everything worked when I reconnected it. Go figure....
The last couple of weeks have been busy both at home and at the shop. The kids are back in scool, and all their after school activities have started again as well. The boys have both moved up from the beginner marching band to the "big" one where they will hopefully stay until they turn 18. I love to hear them play!
Last week was the big trade fair right outside Oslo, and we were there for two days buying in new fabrics, jewelry, tablerunners, more jewelry, more fabrics, embroideries, embroidery floss, yarn, cast iron candleholders, you name it.... it was two very fun and busy days for us, and now some of our purchases have started to arrive at the shop :-) Oh I can't wait to go to Houston to Quilt Market- I am sure it will be a blast!!!
Poor Kini got sick over the weekend, she was supposed to be on a 4 day hiking trip at the "Rondane" mountains with her class, but had to stay in bed instead- she was not a happy camper.... good thing her Mac came right before she got sick....
On a quilty note, I am finally quilting the star quilt, I have also started two new projects.... and then there is the secret stitchers angel swap.... I have heard from my angel, but I don't have a clue who you are.... I have also mailed the person I am sending to.... :-) Such fun!
Well, my brother is popping by for dinner, he lives in Oslo, but has been in Trondheim for work for a few days. It will be nice to see him for a few before he heads for Hafjell to go downhill biking this weekend.
Take care, and thank you for stopping by!

  2. I wish I were able to go to the Houston quilt show. Will you just be going to market or both show & market?

  4. We frequently have to "reboot" our router to make it play nicely. Glad you solved your problem.
