WIP and more to come....

I thought I'd share what I am working on today. This is a quilt from American Patchwork and quilting, the July issue I think... In the magazine it is made in very sweet blue and white fabrics, with a very different colour option shown, which I really liked.
So I dug out my alien fabrics, and cut the pieces a few weeks ago.... I made the bigger stars right away, but all those small stars have been a work in slow progress... Now I want this quilt done so I can get started on something new (sound familiar?)

Here's a shot of kits that I REALLY want to make soon.... Including lots of pincushions from the pincushion club.... Oh and they are soooo pretty- I really need to make them!

And look at the shelf with my Jelly Rolls (and I have more in the back of the ones you can see... Oh and all that wonderful fabric that scream "pick me for your next project"... Now this is just a small part of my stash. Sigh...

And would you look what was here when I came back home Saturday.... The first block from the Fat Quarter shop designer BOM 2009.... WITH the finishing kit and backing set. This year I was very good and ordered the whole lot together.... Thank you Carol, you were right, it wasn't too late to join in the fun this year as well.....
And can you see the lovely Hugs and kisses patterns there, one is her new BOM "Twas the night before Christmas". I need to get that one made soon, I hope to offer it at the shop. If you are interested in this BOM please let me know :) It is just adorable!
Along with these new patterns I received two new issues of Autralian Homespun from a little private swap, and I need to keep going on my Breast of friends BOM....
Now I really need to stay focused at one project at a time, but that is just so hard to do, don't you think??? Tomorrow I'm off to the cabin for a week or two with the kids and my parents- no electricity, so I guess there will be some stithing giong on...
Thanks for stopping by, now I need to head to the kitchen for my next project- homemade lasagne for dinner....

  4. It looks like we are in the same mood - wanting to move on to the next project before the one I'm working on is finished - and the next - and the next one after that. Your stars are nice.

  6. I wonder if having my charm squares and jelly rolls on show like that would help motivate me to use them. They are hidden in a large crate under the table.
