More sewing

Thank you for all your kind comments about the bunad shirt embroidery- I will keep you updated on my progress.
Tuesday Ola was not feeling well, so I stayed home with him, which meant a "bonusday" at home. I decided to give this new pattern from Kari Renolen a try. It is called " I pose og sekk" and is a combined backpack and purse. It was so much fun to sew, and I finished it in one day
Yesterday we had a day in Trondheim, we were at a yarn exhibition, so I got to use my new bag- fun! We managed to get some shopping in as well, and of course we had to visit Siw at Quiltegaarden. She has a wonderful shop, and I always find neat fabrics and fun things there... So this is my loot from Quiltegaarden, lovely new arrivals from Japan and supercute ribbons! Well, I better get to work, have a great day, and thank you for stopping by!

  9. GREAT job on that bag! I make my son's pants/clothes and he just loves it when I put a piece of decorative ribbon inside to mark the back - your new ones are very cute indeed! Cheers! Evelyn
