Where did that week go??

Last week was good- we celebrated Kini's 14th birthday on Wednesday- she had an "open house birthday party" after dance rehersals, and 20!! of her closest friends came to celebrate with her. It was a wonderful night, I had prepared a buffet with breads, rolls and lots of sliced meats and different cheese and jams, and the girls had their evening meal instead of sweet cakes and candy (ok, so I did have two cakes...) Kini was thrilled, she had a wonderful night, and I can't believe we have a 14 year old in the house.

In between work , work and work, I've managed to make this easter tablerunner. It's bright and cheerful with lots of yellow and orange- perfect for Easter I think. Maybe I'll make another one in different colors for summer (oh summer seem s sooo far away right now...)
OK. back to work, I'm sorry it's long in between posts these days- it will get better I hope :)
Thank you for reading!

  4. Thanks for dropping by. You would have loved the workshops. I feel very lucky to have gone. Your Truly Scrumptious stitcheries are looking great. Natalie had her original sample at the workshop. It was very exciting to see it after having watched it evolve on her blog. Looks like your daughter enjoyed her birthday. Happy stitching. Christine.
