Yesterday we took the canoe up to a lake in the mountains in Alvdal. My uncle has a small fishing cabin up there, and I have fond memories from our fishing trips there when I was a little girl. I am so pleased our kids love it up there as much as we do, and next weekend we'll bring our tents and camp up there with my husbands sister and her family.
We were so lucky yesterday, we had wonderful weather all day, and the kids even went swimming. When we got home at night it was pouring down, and we were told it had rained all day long, lucky us!
As you can see, the kids were all happy. Now they are counting the days until Friday when we go back for the whole weekend :)
