Yesterday I finished the top, and I've taken it home to baste it together. In the pattern there was a lot of quilting on it, but I think I will modify it a bit- to my own skill level... I hope to get started on the quilting this week end.
Yesterday I received patterns from Cinderberry Stitches at the shop, and I'm dying to start one of them, they are just adorable :)
Today is the boy's last day of school before summer, so they were happy this morning. DD had her last day yesterday- in the fall she will be in Jr. High, I can't believe how fast her first seven years in school has gone by. Her class put on a great show on Wednesday night, and had a wonderful end of the year get together with teachers, students and parents. The teachers had written a poem about every student (they are 52 kids), and it was great fun for all of us to hear how they summarized our kids up in a few sentences (on rhyme)I was really impressed. Today she's sleeping in and enjoying having the house to herself while the boys are at school...
