I feel terrible about not posting in over a week. I am so sorry! Things are really hectic these days, I'm still working full days at my DH's shop, and I'm stocking my quilt shop. I had another road trip Monday and Tuesday, down south of Oslo, and came home with my car full of fabric bolts (again).
Inger Helene Høyen Hodøl is done with my shop logo, and I am really happy with it. Makes me smile just looking at it. She is a very talented painter, and has a gallery right down the street from my shop. Needless to say, we have a few of her paintings at home. I will have to show them later. She does mostly silk paintings, and most of them are a bit humorous, and they all put a big smile on my face, so I was thrilled when she agreed to draw my logo.
I am also working with Magenta who are setting up my web shop for me. It should be up and running by June 11th, but I don't think I will have time to get everything in the shop online by then... The big opening day is also June 11th. I am so excited!
I also want to thank everyone for all the nice comments. I try to answer everyone, but if I haven't I am sorry. Some still have "no reply" and it isn't possible to answer you directly.

ReplyDeleteHar fått ny bok frå Lappemakeriet i dag, den er heilt super, noko med det beste eg har sett kva angår mønster, stoff og fargar. Langt mellom slike godbitar! Ja, boka heiter Quiltegleder, og eg fekk den signert av forfattarane.
Kjempeflott logo! Tror jammen jeg må sette meg i bilen og ta en tur til Tynset i sommer.....
