UFO sewing

I've been digging out some of my ufo's lately, and it feels good to work on them again :-)  This was just a block I made years ago for a blocknight at the shop, but I didn't have a plan for it really, until I was clearing out some of my stash, and I found a piece of the teabag fabric at the bottom of a pile.... Now I just need to quilt it and bind it, and it will be a nice little top for my kitchen counter.

More ufo's.... I have finished the two identical stitcheries for AnnAKa's "blue advent" tablerunner.  The first one was started in October, but I didn't finish it until just recently.  The second one only took me a week, so now I might just finish this one before advent comed in December ( I should have plenty of time...)

The last ufo I am working on is a wallhanging.  The pattern is "Annas veggteppe" also by AnnAKa.  It has two stitcheries, and I have just finished them both ( I've been doing a lot of stitching lately...LOL)

I had fun sewing the star blocks.  The colors I am using is different from the pattern, but I like the way it looks :-)

Thank you for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful day!

  3. Gorgeous work, as always! I love that birdie and stars pattern, your colors and fabric choises are simply wonderful. I had a piece of that same teabag fabric from many years ago that I recently cut up and added to a scrappy quilt... whatever was I saving it for? Have a nice weekend, Anne Heidi.

  4. I had to enlarge the picture to see what you meant by tea bag fabric. Now I get it. The fabrics make up well in the card trick pattern.
