Yeey! I finished the Jelly Roll quilt top! I made it a little larger than the pattern said, since I had a lot of extra blocks.... Now I need to decide whether I will quilt it myself or send it off to Merete...
The pattern is called "Hide 'n' seek" and is from the book "Strip-Smart Quilts"
I used a jelly roll, "Spring Magic" by April Cornell, and different creme/white fabrics from my stash for the blocks.
The other top I have finished is "Anna's veggteppe" by AnnAKa. The stitcheries don't show up very well in the photograph, sorry about that!! I hope to finish this soon, as I really like the way it turned out.
I was sewing a tablerunner yesterday, and had a bit of fabric left over, so I made this little "Glam bag". Pattern by Pink Sand Beach Design. I have made quite a few of these over the years, and I just love them! They are wonderful to give away as small gifts.
That's it for now, thank you for stopping by!
Love your jelly roll quilt, great colours. Beautiful work on the bag too.
ReplyDeleteSå fine tepper du har sydd! Kjekt å se AnnAKa teppet i helt ny fargedrakt.
ReplyDeleteTo virkelig fine tepper og kjempesøt sminkepung!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt tops there Anne Heidi, the Spring Magic fabrics are so pretty. The glam bag is a great use of scraps too x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts! I love the bag, also.
ReplyDeleteHer var det mye sint å se i dag. Den stripequilten var jo bare så spennende.
