We are back home after a lovely vacation in Florida. We got lots of sun, spent quality time together, and had a lot of fun! Now it's back to work, but the kids still have a month off from school. Ola has a summer job, Sigve is training twice a day to get ready for next winters ski competitions, and Kristine is getting ready for a math exam in August, so they are all staying pretty busy....
Hope your summer is great! ( Or winter if you are in Australia...)
Hello Anne Heidi, I love Heidi as a name, ever since I read Heidi, the book when I was about 9 or 10, more than 50 years ago now!!! You sound like you had a fantastic holiday in Florida (USA? I wonder). We are chilling out literally on the east coast of Australia, about 2 hours north of Sydney, although our winters are a lot milder than yours, but our summers can get up to 40 degrees C and then we need airconditioning and stay indoors. I enjoy knitting at the moment - I am teaching two of my friends to knit socks in 4 ply or fingering yarns. Personally I have just moved over to Estonian 2ply lace knitting and have finally mastered NUPPS. I would love to knit a shawl, doing smaller scarves at the moment. Anyway it is 11 pm. DH (plumber) put in a new water heater today, so hopefully the shower is lovely and hot. If not I will just have a wash after I boil the kettle!!! And then off to bed. Hope you have a lovely rest of the day!!!!!

ReplyDeleteSo very glad you all had fun!! I love the beach too!
ReplyDeleteHi there, so glad your home safe and sound . We really missed getting to spend some time with you all. That is so cool that Faith and Ola both have jobs. Give our love to all and I can't wait to see what your making next. Hugs, Marie
