Today I would like to show you some pictures from our booth at the Norwegian Quilt Association's meeting in Kristiansand this past weekend.

The past weeks I have been busy getting ready for this annual event- sewing samples ( and borrowing from designers and local quilters)

I was able to finish my Swoon quilt,(to the left in the picture), and I am really happy with how it turned out. Merete Ellingsen quilted it for me, and as always she did a wonderful job!

It takes us a day to put the booth together, but it only took 90 minutes to pack it back down on Sunday. We had a long drive home to Tynset, so we really wanted to get going. We drove straight home, only stopping for gas and a drive-through burger....
We had a great time in Kristiansand, now we're looking forward to the Norwegian Quilt Festival in September where we will have a booth as well :-)

ReplyDeleteThe stand looks wonderful Anne Heidi... beautiful display of such lovely items... I did not realise how big the Swoon blocks are, seeing them nearby to other things, shows me they are big! Well done to you all

I would be the kind of customer that you would LOVE to have in your booth... good for you, bad for my wallet! ;) I love those wonky houses, and your SWOON quilt is simply gorgeous!
