The last weekend in September our quiltguild had a retreat at a lovly place called "Telstad". Ten ladies spent the weekend here quilting and having lots of fun!
We took turns in the kitchen, and Saturday evening we had a lovely dinner!
Here are some of the guildmembers admiring a christmas quilt top made over the weekend
For our retreat LAST year, I had brought this bundle to make a winter wallhanging- but I didn't even open it then.... Guess I brought too many things to work on... So this time I started on the blocks BEFORE the retreat... LOL
Pretty 4" blocks....
Sorry I don't have more pictures of my progress, guess I was too busy sewing to take pictures....
Tomorrow I am heading to Molde with my car filled with fabrics and other fun quilty stuff. I am setting up a booth at the "Vestlandstreffet" ( West coast meeting) quilt festival. So today I will be busy cutting more fabrics and getting ready. I really with I had more hours in the day....
Looks like you all had a wonderful retreat! Have a good time at the festival. Miss you bunches!! This is homecoming week, Faith is really excited! Hugs, Marie
