Last night I had a bit of fun in the sewing room.... I have been wanting to make the Dresden pillow from Sherri's book " A quilting life", so I started cutting ( while watching Sue Daley's you tube video intro to paper piecing...) Multitasking works great!

The I arranged the pieces to see how they would look...

And started to sew.... ( my this time the Sue Daley video was done and I was listening to music.....)

And voilà- a cute little Dresden plate...
And I have more pieces left over, so I'll make another one to have a set of matching pillows. Maybe I'll have time to finish them over the weekend! I'll keep you posted :-)

Happy 4th of July to you ! Wish you were here. Your very busy and I wish I could be. Ray has taken ill, we just brought him home yesterday but he may have to go back. I was so hoping that things were looking up in the sewing room but I don't have time to go in there at all. Just thinking of you all. Hugs,Marie
