It sure has been a while since I've posted anything here... It's not that I haven't been sewing- I've just been very busy....
In March we brought the shop (or at least a little part of our shop) to the annual Quilt Meet in the Norwegian Quilt Association. To prepare for a weekend like this takes a Looong time, especially sewing new samples....
This quilt is the BOM club we are doing this year at the shop. The pattern is called "Barbara Jean's Sampler quilt", and is by Lori Smith of "From my heart to your hands". I LOVED making this quilt, the fabrics are from Sue Daley's new fabric line. Merete Ellingsen quilted it, and she did a wonderful job! (We have kits for this at the shop if anyone is interested....)
Here is another view of our booth. You may see my Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt in the middle of the picture... Finished just in time!
It was lovely to go to the cabin for Easter this year. Lots of snow meant we got to ski every day! Sigve carried his snowboard and boots on his back while cross country skiing to one of the biggest mountains in the area, and had a blast snowboarding down all the way back to the cabin.
Our cabin is not in an aerea with prepared skislopes or even prepared tracks, but we are able to ski anywhere we want to which is wonderful!
My dad and Kristine is way ahead of my mom and me....
Such a beautiful day!
And after a day of skiing it was nice to relax by the cabin!
I hope your Easter was nice and relaxing as well.
Your booth looks fantastic....hard to resist so many beautiful fabrics. I have never been to the snow, it looks amazing and quite different to our Easter at the beach.
